Ayanah Proulx, the creator of Divine Riot, draws deep inspiration from her natural surroundings and the beauty of God. She grew up in Maine, climbing in tall pine trees and getting pulled out by the powerful ocean. At a young age Ayanah found God in the insects under the rocks and in the shape of clouds. These places and her always on connection to Creator shaped how she sees the world and how she creates.

Divine Riot celebrates the divine in all things, especially in what is made by human hands and roots us back to the great beyond. It is practice stemmed in connection to each other, to the objects we carry, and to the life within everything that we touch.
